The Art of Storytelling Workshop
6 Wednesdays, April 23 - May 28, 2008
Leader: Noa Baum

Become a storyteller and connect to a powerful oral tradition. When you tell or hear a story, you are participating in one of the most basic and intense of human experiences. No matter how young or old we are, sharing stories are at the core of our Jewish experience and serve as our communal memory. Now you can learn how to create an experience as you tell a story—not simply how to read or memorize one. Explore your creativity, improvise, embellish, and find your own unique voice. Wear comfortable (easy-to-move) clothes and come ready to play.

Noa Baum is an acclaimed performance artist and educator; she trained in theatre at Tel-Aviv University and holds an MA in Educational Theater from NYU.
