To register, simply contact Ingrid by email (idrake@pogo.org) or phone (202-347-1122) and provide your name, title, and contact information.  Lunch will be provided to attendees and POGO will also be distributing copies of its recently published oversight handbook, The Art of Congressional Oversight: A User's Guide to Doing It Right, to congressional staff.  Please spread the word to other Hill staffers!

You might also be interested in round two of our Whistleblower Film Series, which happens tonight at the Capitol Visitor Center at 6:30 P.M.  This week, we are switching things up and showing The Whistleblower, a made-for-TV documentary that tells the story of Chuck Hamel (a POGO board member), who blew the whistle on big oil in Alaska and became the target of a major undercover sting that threatened the lives of his fellow whistleblowers and even targeted a senior Congressman.

Congressional sponsors of pending whistleblower legislation are scheduled to speak before the film screening. After the credits roll, Public Citizen's Angela Canterbury will host a Q&A on that legislation.  The event is sponsored by Public Citizen and is free and open to the public.

We hope to see you soon!
