Nixon for Governor's privacy policy reflects our strong commitment to respecting any information you choose to share with us and Friends of Jay such as if you contribute, blog or volunteer in support of Jay's political future.

How we use the information you provide

When you contribute, join as a Friend of Jay or get involved to support Jay Nixon's political future, we ask for your name, company/organization, address, telephone number, email address, and to post your reasons for supporting Jay to compose your profile. We also ask you to enter the email addresses of people you know so that they can read your reasons for why you are supporting Jay and hopefully visit the site and get involved themselves.

We use the information you provide to send you the latest news and updates from my campaign. We also work closely with Democratic candidates, parties and allied organizations and may share some basic contact information with them, and they may contact you.

Under Missouri State election law, Nixon for Governor is required to make periodic filings to the Missouri Ethics Commission that provide information on each contributor, including their name, employer, address, amount of contribution and date of contribution. For more information on Missouri State election law, please visit the Missouri Ethics Commission. To make a contribution online, we automatically connect you to a secure server certified by Verisign and ask that you provide us with your credit card number, expiration date and the card holder's name.

How we protect your information

Nixon for Governor has measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of the information under our control. Our website server and supporter database are located in secure environments.

How to contact us, unsubscribe from mailing lists, or correct or change your information

If you would like to delete your profile or unsubscribe from our mailing lists at any time, you can do so by visiting your subscription management page by clicking here or in the link at the bottom of every email we send you. You can also contact us by fax (573-761-4817), telephone (573-761-5333) or written letter. For legal and accounting purposes, contribution records will remain in our Nixon for Governor database and with the Missouri Ethics Commission.
