Important Hearing Changes!

When we wrote to you earlier this week, we told you about the important upcoming bill hearings for the new Health Care for All! bill (HB 951/SB 813).  The Senate hearing was supposed to be this coming week, but we were informed late yesterday that the date has now been moved.  Below are the new dates confirmed today.

• SB 813 - Wednesday March 18, 2009.  1pm in the Senate Finance Committee.
• HB 951 - Thursday March 19, 2009.  1pm in the House Health and Government Operations Committee.

These two days are a very important first step in the process of making the new Health Care for All! legislation a reality and we really want all of you to come to Annapolis if you can to show support.  If you can make it, would like to testify, submit written support (we would be happy to help with a model), or just come watch the show please let us know by calling the office (410 235 9000), or sending an email to brooke@healthcareforall.com.
