Greetings,
This past weekend, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Affordable Health Care for America Act (H.R. 3962), a historic bill to reform the American health care system. To see how your Representative voted, click here. Thank you to those who were able to call their members of Congress regarding health care reform. Be sure to contact your member's office and tell the Representative what you think about his or her vote.
While the legislation passed this weekend is not perfect -- nor the final word on reform -- it moves us closer to needed reform of our nation's health care system. Now attention moves to the Senate, which is expected to take up their version of health care reform soon. As always, we will keep you informed and let you know when the best time is to contact your Senators.
