We did it!  The Waxman-Markey American Clean Energy and Security Act (ACES/H.R. 2454) passed out of the US House.  

With a vote of 219 – 212, every vote counted, and unfortunately Congressman John Salazar failed to deliver and voted NO.

Rising temperatures have real impacts on all sectors of Colorado's economy from our ski industry, tourism and recreation to agriculture. Many Colorado communities are on the frontline of this climate battle.

Congressman Salazar missed an opportunity to support rural Colorado, create new jobs and transition Colorado and America to a clean energy economy.

Please call Congressman Salazar's office today to let him know that you are disappointed in his NO vote on the American Clean Energy and Security Act and ask that he support the final version when it comes back from the Senate.
