Clean Energy in our Schools!
But if schools could produce energy on-site by installing technologies like wind turbines and solar panels, schools could reduce their utility bills, create a buffer against future energy price spikes, and put more money toward educating our kids. Unfortunately, many schools can't afford the up-front capital needed to finance renewable energy projects. HB 1312 would provide schools with low-interest loans to help eliminate this barrier, and allow schools to save money they could be putting back into the classroom. Write a letter to your State Senator and ask them to vote YES on HB 1312 and help Colorado's schools become a part of building a vibrant New Energy Economy.
