Position
Summary: In partnership with the Executive Director,
the Operations and Finance Director manages day-to-day
operations, provides financial oversight, maintains effective
systems, and helps to design organizational strategies to meet
Colorado Environmental Coalition’s goals. The Operations
and Finance Director reports directly to the Executive Director
and oversees the staff of the organization’s
administrative and technology programs, and contributes to
fundraising and volunteer programs.

CO Position Summary: Investor, Entrepreneur,
Conservationist seeks Personal Assistant. Contract Position
Available – Part-Time
Seeking Personal Assistant to amplify Client’s
effectiveness and help him manage multiple entrepreneurial,
private investing, environmental political, wildlife
conservation and non-profit board tasks and to manage various
home, personal projects, tasks, relationships, events and
activities.

Required Skills and Characteristics:
- Must be over 21, college degree, non-smoker, willing and
able to pass a background check
- Passionate about caring for our environment (should be your
#1 cause interest)
- Self-starter, perform well with minimal management given
clear objectives, show initiative
- Work well in unstructured environment / enjoy working
independently (solo on many tasks)
- Able to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, attention
to detail, multi-task oriented, & follow-up skills
- Drivers license and occasional use of contractor’s
vehicle (mileage expenses reimbursed)
- Ethical, honest, reliable, responsible, efficient, and
punctual
- Several years of relevant work experience with great
references
- Excellent inter-personal skills - Good writing, verbal
communication and organizational skills
- Professionalism to interact with CEOs and VPs of start-up
thru Fortune 500 and state and federal elected officials
(business etiquette)
- Excellent computer, Word, Excel and Internet (web research,
email) skills
- Proficient with contact database management software
(import, export, selects, mail merge, etc.)
- Commitment to respect privacy and protect confidential
information of Client and Client’s organizations
- Even-tempered, flexible, professional and friendly
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct research related to wildlife conservation
philanthropy and business projects
- Project management: calls, emails, letters to move multiple
projects forward
- Make frequent travel arrangements including detailed
location research and planning personal US and international
travel including vacation rentals (Travel agent handles the air,
car, etc.)
- Provide admin support for business, investing, non-profit
board, political work and home maintenance
- Assist with fundraising campaigns client is involved with
- Schedule frequent business, social, non-profit and other
appointments
- Organize, maintain filing (home office and office) and
database systems including master email, mailing, and phone
lists
- Plan and manage events for non-profit or political
fundraisers
- Keep projects moving forward, check weekly on home, and
update Client when Client is traveling for weeks or months
Provide brief backgrounders on people client meets
with
Occasional personal errands
Expectations of Service Level: ½ business day return
of calls and emails, i.e. Assistant checking email and voice
mail daily M-F 8-5, meet with Client in person each week in
Boulder, frequently tasks may require your presence in Boulder
or Denver, person not based in Boulder must be ready to be in
Boulder several times per week to handle in person tasks
transparently to client.
Independent contractor @ $20/hour plus pre-approved expenses
with a flexible schedule of about 20 hours/week. Work may be
performed at client’s or contractor’s office and
will occasionally include Client’s home office. Contractor
should expect to be available for at least 1 year, i.e. not
interested in working together for just a few months given time
required for us to learn to work together smoothly.

Unlimited Position: Outreach Director,
Boulder, Colorado Position Summary: The
Outreach Director position is a full-time position organizing
membership and citizens in support of Colorado rivers
conservation. As Outreach Director, you will meet many
different people and help promote conservation values at a
grassroots level, working closely with Colorado chapters, Trout
Unlimited’s national staff, and with other conservation
groups and local governments to build awareness of our programs
and campaigns, to mobilize activist/volunteer involvement, and
to spearhead CTU’s main online and print
communications.
