Please take a minute to thank Senator Bennet, who stepped up to support an amendment to the climate change bill that better addresses greenhouse gases from transportation!

As you know, the House version of the bill is missing a key piece: it doesn't do enough to address greenhouse gas emissions from vehicles. Recently, we asked you to send emails to Senators Bennet and Udall asking them to support an amendment that would help rectify that situation. 

Your voices were heard! Thanks to Senator Bennet's leadership in supporting this amendment, the new Senate version of the bill has more than doubled the amount the House bill allocates to address greenhouse gases from transportation!

This money will go to support better transportation solutions like clean fuels, transit development, smart growth, bike lanes, and carpool programs. This is a very important victory and it's really important you let Senator Bennet know you appreciate his efforts on your behalf.  Please take a second to thank him now!
