LAMPa endeavors to keep you informed about legislation and other policies that impact a family's ability to access the amount of nutritious food they need. This could include alerts about energy, education, housing, health care, and more. Additionally, each year LAMPa partners with food banks, hunger research centers, faith groups and many other organizations to promote a budgetary request directly related to one or more food and nutrition line items in the state budget. For 2010, our focus is the State Food Purchase Program. Our goal is increase the funding from $18 million to $20 million.
