On October 22nd, Congressman Salazar introduced legislation to the House of Representatives to permanently protect over 60,000 acres of pristine lands in San Miguel, Ouray, and San Juan counties. On November 10th, Senator Udall introduced the same legislation in the Senate. These are some of the most spectacular wild places in Colorado and they are greatly deserving of permenant proctections. Please let both of these leaders know that we are grateful for these legislative introductions!
