MISSION

The Lutheran Coalition for Public Policy in Minnesota, in response to God’s love, seeks to engage all people of faith in the promotion of public policy that supports peace, justice and care for all of God’s creation.

FAITH-BASED ADVOCACY

Advocacy is a public witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ where the church speaks with and on behalf of others in need articulating positions consistent with our faith.  Find out more about our Guiding Principles from Scripture and from the ELCA.

Our new GetActive System enables our ministry of advocacy to provide our network with information and communication about current justice-related policy issues.  Join the network and learn about opportunities to use your voice as an advocate for others!

Working in coalitions with other faith-based, secular and service organizations with common commitments is a priority for the advocacy ministries of the ELCA.  Such partnerships strengthen the church's voice for increased effectiveness.
